Our Policy

Your privacy is important to us at Baby Basics Inc. (“Baby Basics”).  Baby Basics adheres to a strict policy for ensuring the privacy of your personally identifiable information (such as full name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and/or other identifiable information that you may voluntarily share with us) (collectively, the “Personal Data”). This policy outlines what information is collected and stored about visitors to the Baby Basics website (the “Site”), and how that information is used.  Your access to and use of the Site is subject to the Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

In general, you can visit the Site without revealing any information about yourself. Our web servers collect and store IP addresses, but not individual email addresses, to compile data such as the number of visits our site receives, the pages viewed or the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers. We collect this personally non-identifiable data to measure the use of and to help us improve the Site. The IP address does not contain or reveal personally identifiable information such as your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number. Baby Basics receives IP addresses from all users because this information is automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Information is never used to track or monitor individual users.

We collect Personal Data from you when you choose to provide such information to Baby Basics, such as when you contact us with inquiries or sign up to join our mailing list.  Whenever Baby Basics collects such Personal Data, we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy.  By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information from residents of the United States.  If you provide Personal Data to the Site, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Baby Basics and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.

Baby Basics does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13.  If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Site. 

Our Use of Your Personal Information

If you choose to provide Personal Data to join our mailing list, please know that Baby Basics may use the Personal Data to provide you with Baby Basics related mailings, email newsletters, invitations, or other similar Baby Basics purposes.  If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please contact Baby Basics at babybasicsinc@hotmail.com.  Please know that Baby Basics will never sell Personal Data to third parties, however, there are certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you: if we are required to do so by law or in the good faith believe that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or a government request, (ii) verify compliance with or enforce our Terms of Use or protect and defend the rights or property of Baby Basics, users of the Site or others, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of this Site or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability; or when we employ agents, consultants or related third parties to perform certain business-related functions, such as maintaining databases, in which case, we only provide such parties with information needed to perform their specific function.  If Baby Basics intends on using Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time at which the Personal Data is collected.

Changes to Baby Basics’ Privacy Policy

At times, it may be necessary for Baby Basics to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Baby Basics reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any Personal Data. This Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of the Site after any changes or revisions to this Privacy Policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Privacy Policy.
